My name is Cas Groot and I was born in the Netherlands in 1983. I studied Electical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technolgy (TU/e) and completed my master studie in 2007 with a mayor in digital design and low power. My Master Project at NXP Research consists of two topics. I developed a new power gating method and created an automated design flow to create a library of power switches in the Cadence environment.
